Biotech Offerings Fuel Health Care IPO Dominance

The health care sector leads the U.S. market for IPOs this year. It’s the busiest year for IPOs in more than a decade. Health care has had 88 initial public offerings this year, primarily in the biotech sector. The No. 2 IPO sector is technology, with 47 IPOs, according to IPO ETF manager Renaissance Capital.
