Auxilium Xiaflex Drug Wins New Label, Stock Jumps

Biotech Auxilium Pharmaceuticals (AUXL) on Friday received FDA approval to expand the label for its drug Xiaflex, sending its stock up 9.5% in afternoon trading on the stock market today. Xiaflex was approved as the first non-surgical treatment for Peyronie’s disease, which causes curvature of the penis.
