AT&T’s (T) agreement to buy satellite TV broadcaster DirecTV Group (DTV), reached late Sunday, has set off speculation over the telecom industry’s next big deal, with much of the focus on Dish Network (DISH), Sprint (S) and T-Mobile US (TMUS). Federal regulators will likely approve the merger of AT&T and DirecTV, analysts say. A combined AT&T-DirecTV would have some 26 million pay-TV customers.
