Apple’s March quarter could be brutal for iPhone sales

While Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone sales outlook looks solid for the December quarter, the company’s March quarter could see a nasty drop in unit sales, Sterne Agee CRT analyst Rob Cihra said in a research report Sunday. Cihra says that December-quarter iPhone sales will be “slightly better than fears,” up 3% year over year to 77 million units.
