Apple chip supplier Skyworks Solutions late Thursday reported better-than-expected fiscal Q3 earnings and revenue and gave a strong outlook for the current quarter. Skyworks (SWKS) earned $1.34 a share excluding items for its Q3 ended July 3, up 61% vs. the year-earlier quarter. Revenue climbed 38% to $810 million. Analysts had expected $1.29 and $801.5 million.
