Apple iPhone 6 sales outpace last year’s iPhone launch numbers

The iPhone 6 series phones are already available in more than 30 countries. By the end of October, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will arrive in 36 more countries, including China, India, Mexico, South Korea and Thailand, Apple (AAPL) said in a press release. The eighth-generation iPhones will be available in 69 countries total by the end of the month, Apple said. Apple launched the iPhone 6 series phones in the U.S. on Sept. 19. Polling and survey firm Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) said Tuesday that the new iPhones “enjoyed a very strong introduction, accounting for a larger percentage of sales in the launch quarter than previous new iPhone models.”… Scalper1 News
