Apple’s (AAPL) big-screen iPhone 6 Plus now makes up nearly 50% of the company’s smartphone production, Rosenblatt Securities said Tuesday. Rosenblatt analyst Brian Blair said his firm’s supply chain checks indicate that Apple has ramped up production of the 5.5-inch model phone. “We understand that the 6 Plus is now almost 50% of total production volume (and yields have normalized for the model at Hon Hai, though we believe the iPhone 6 Plus remains more difficult to manufacture),” he said in a research note. Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry, also known as Foxconn Technology Group, is one of  Apple ‘s (AAPL) contract manufacturers. Scalper1 News
