Analysts Cautious On Amazon.com Ahead Of Q1 Earnings

Amazon.com (AMZN) is expected to report a loss when it posts first-quarter results after the market close Thursday, as the company continues to spend heavily on growth. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect a 13-cent per-share loss minus items, swinging from a 23-cent profit in the year-earlier period. They expect revenue to rise 14% to $22.4 billion.
