The Federal Aviation Administration late Thursday gave e-commerce leader Amazon.com (AMZN) approval to test its delivery drones in the U.S. Amazon has been seeking permission to test its unmanned aerial vehicles in U.S. airspace since it announced its Amazon Prime Air initiative in December 2013. The news came the same day Amazon announced that it has expanded its one-hour ground delivery service, known as Prime Now, to its Amazon Prime Scalper1 News
