Alibaba Group (BABA) says it’s opening its large online-shopping sites to independent mobile-app developers. The Chinese e-commerce giant said in a post on its corporate news site that the program, named Baichuan (Chinese for hundreds of rivers), provides outside retailers and developers with technical help to connect with Alibaba’s e-commerce ecosystem. This includes connecting with its websites Taobao Marketplace and Tmall.com as well as Scalper1 News
