Aiming to speed up its move into cybersecurity services, Akamai Technologies (AKAM) on Monday announced that it’s agreed to acquire privately held Prolexic Technologies for about $370 million. Cambridge, Mass-based Akamai, an Internet content delivery specialist, said it expects the deal to close in the first half of 2014.
