The airlines had a good day Friday, with Spirit Airlines (SAVE), Alaska Air Group (ALK) and Southwest Airlines (LUV) posting gains. Spirit has been a leading stock in the most recent stock market rally, but is taking a break as Southwest and Alaska both hit new highs Friday. Southwest rose 0.52 to close at 25.79. Alaska flew 1.20 to finish at 98.05 and Spirit was up 1.08 to end the day at 57.49. Spirit may be building a new base, but it would be a Scalper1 News
