Generic drugmakers are showing strength, led by Actavis (ACT) and Perrigo (PRGO), as profits rise thanks to new products and acquisitions. The Medical-Generic Drugs group ranked 10th Wednesday out of the 197 industries tracked by IBD.The 12-member group is up 64% over the past year, far outpacing the S&P 500’s 26% increase. Five own a Composite Rating of 90 or better. They include Actavis, Perrigo, Lannett (LCI), Taro Pharmaceuticals (TARO) and Scalper1 News
