AbbVie Beats, But Stock Falls; Lilly Cuts Guidance

Two of the world’s biggest drugmakers issued a mixture of Q4 reports Friday in what continues to be a tough earnings season. AbbVie (ABBV) said profit excluding one-time items rose 8.5% over the year-earlier quarter to 89 cents, beating analysts’ consensus by 3 cents, according to Thomson Reuters.
