Super Micro Earnings Double As Server Sales Soar
Super Micro Computer (SMCI) easily topped Wall Street fiscal first quarter 2015 profit and revenue estimates. The maker of storage and cloud computing servers also guided Q2 forecasts higher. Earnings per share more than doubled to 46 cents from 22 cents a year ago, topping views by 8 cents a share. It was the fourth quarter in a row it’s topped earnings estimates. That snapped a three-quarter string of decelerating — but still robust — EPS
