Aereo has good reason to worry about any war of attrition with broadcasters. Online Donation Sites Make Gift-Giving A Win-Win

Donors are increasingly going online to support causes — or to make unusual holiday gifts. In 2012, U.S. online donations to charities came in at $2 billion, up 14% from the previous year, says Ken Berger, president of Charity Navigator, which rates charities. Adobe Systems signed up more subscribers than expected to its Creative Cloud service last quarter. That news late Thursday cheered investors, who pushed Adobe stock up 7% in after-hours trading.
