Tablet Computer Growth Slowing To Low Single Digits

The once-hot tablet market is slowing fast. Global shipments of tablets and 2-in-1 devices are expected to reach 234.5 million units this year, a modest 2.1% gain over last year, says research firm IDC. Paying a dividend would light a fire under Google ‘s (GOOGL) stock, says Citigroup, which raised its price target on the Internet search leader on Friday, partly in anticipation of such a move.
