Cisco Cloud, Software Growth Sparks Price Target Hike

Cisco Systems (CSCO) is making progress in boosting its software and cloud service businesses among enterprise and carrier networking customers. In a research report Monday, Brian Modoff, an analyst for Deutsche Bank, said the company appears to performing better than expected in several areas. He said some improvements stem from its 2012 acquisition of Meraki, which had helped the company come out with a cloud platform for Wi-Fi, switching,
