New Apple music service near, TV service delayed: reports

As Apple’s (AAPL) Worldwide Developers Conference approaches, the launch of a new subscription music service looks likely, while an over-the-top Internet TV service probably will be delayed until the fall, according to media reports. Apple usually saves up some big announcements for its annual WWDC, scheduled for June 8-12 in San Francisco. This year, Apple watchers expect the company to unveil its latest mobile operating system, iOS 9, and a new Apple TV set-top box. They’re also looking for the relaunch of Apple’s Beats Music service, which it acquired last August when it bought headphone maker Beats Electronics. Beats Music, launched in January 2014, is a subscription online streaming music service. It competes with services such as Spotify,Pandora (P) and Tidal. ReWalk Robotics (RWLK) was upgraded to a buy rating from hold by Canaccord Genuity on a view that the company is now positioned for improved sustainable growth.
