Verizon To Stream Food Network, HGTV Via Mobile

Verizon (VZ) and Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI) have struck a multi-year deal to stream Food Network, HGTV and other programming to Verizon Wireless users. The “mobile first video” content licensing agreement includes over 45 lifestyle shows, such as Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen,” HGTV’s “House Hunters” and Travel Channel’s “Bizarre Foods,” the company said. Accenture Earnings Beat Estimates As Guidance Raised

Accenture (ACN) reported better-than-expected fiscal Q3 earnings Thursday morning and raised its full-year guidance, sending the stock to a record high. Accenture reported revenue of $7.77 billion for the quarter ended May 31, up 0.4% from the year-earlier quarter and beating the consensus estimate of $7.54 billion among analysts polled by Thomson Reuters. Earnings per share minus items rose 3% to $1.30, beating the $1.23 analysts expected.
