Microsoft, Rackspace In ‘Fanatical’ Cloud Agreement

Rackspace Hosting (RAX) will offer technical support and managed services for Microsoft’s public cloud computing platform, called Azure, under an expanded relationship between the two companies. Rackspace said Microsoft (MSFT) Azure support and managed services are now available and will be expanded to overseas customers through early 2016. Rackspace’s Azure agreement marks its first major deal to support public cloud services other than its own.

Edwards Lifesciences Hits High As Street Lauds Buyout

Heart-surgery giant Edwards Lifesciences (EW) rose more than 3% to an all-time high Monday morning after two analysts upgraded it in the wake of an acquisition.
