As it continues a global expansion, China e-commerce leader Alibaba Group (BABA) announced it’s appointed Eric Pelletier vice president of international government affairs. Pelletier will be based in Washington, D.C., and lead Alibaba’s government affairs activities outside of China, the company said. It’s a new position.
