Athenahealth Healthy Q4 Helped By ‘Good’ Flu Season

Medical software company Athenahealth (ATHN) was up in morning trading Friday after its Q4 earnings and sales beat estimates, helped in part by “a good flu season.” Athenahealth’s profit rose 2% over the year-earlier quarter to 58 cents a share, beating analysts’ consensus by 19 cents, according to Thomson Reuters. Revenue jumped 24% to $213 million, more than $5 million above consensus. For the year, earnings rose 13% to $1.31 a share, with
