Bristol, Merck, Astra Cancer Killers Face Off
At this year’s American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting, a medical conference that starts Friday in Chicago, some of the world’s biggest drugmakers will show off the latest data from a new class of cancer drugs that could bring new hope to patients — and enrich investors. These drugs are part of a field called immuno-oncology (I-O), which uses technologies that manipulate the patient’s immune system to help it fight cancer.
