Could Amazon.com Be Giving Luxury Retail Another Try?

Amazon.com (AMZN) might be giving the world of high-end retail another try. The e-commerce king is rumored to be negotiating to buy high-end online retailer Net-a-Porter for a luxury price of more than $2 billion, according to Women’s Wear Daily. Should the current negotiations bear fruit, Net-a-Porter would become Amazon.com’s largest acquisition ever, surpassing last summer’s nearly $1 billion purchase of video game streaming company Twitch.

Ambarella’s (AMBA) prospects in the drone business are heating up, prompting one analyst to boost his price target on the high-flying stock. Amazon.com Expands One-Day Delivery To Beat Google

Amazon.com (AMZN) continues to race Google to offer the fastest delivery of goods purchased online, expanding its Prime Now service to Dallas. No. 1 e-tailer Amazon on Thursday said it has extended its Prime Now one-hour delivery service to select areas in Dallas. Last week, Amazon began the service in sections of Baltimore and Miami after first launching it in part of New York City. Prime Now is part of Amazon’s Prime annual membership
