Apple facing launch delays for iPhone 6 phablet, iWatch

Apple (AAPL) appears to be having trouble bringing new products to market. A report out of Asia on Sunday said Apple’s jumbo-sized iPhone 6 could slip into 2015 because of production problems. Kuo previously expected the iWatch to enter mass production in late September. Kuo now forecasts production of 3 million iWatch units by year’s end, down from previous expectations for 10 million. The iWatch is said to feature a flexible AMOLED display with sapphire crystal cover, Kuo said. It is rumored to have a slightly rectangular 2.5-inch screen and 10 sensors for measuring physical activity and health. It also will be waterproof and use system-on-a-chip components.
