Intel’s (INTC) wireless modem chips will go into Apple iPhones in 2016, at least partly replacing Qualcomm’s chips, VentureBeat reported Wednesday. The report, which cited unnamed sources, sent Intel stock rising 2% Wednesday, while Qualcomm (QCOM) stock fell 2.25%. Apple stock down on Watch concerns, iTunes outage

Apple (AAPL) stock fell for the second straight day since its spring product launch event on Monday, which was headlined by the Apple Watch. Apple shares dropped 1.8% to 122.24 on the stock market today. It was a day in which Apple’s online services suffered a major outage and early reviews of the Apple Watch raised possible concerns. Apple’s iTunes and App Store were down for about 11 hours on Wednesday, from just before 5 a.m. ET to shortly after 4 p.m. Customers were unable to make purchases from those stores, as well as the iBooks Store and Mac App Store. The company blamed the outage on an internal technical error, Reuters said. Apple’s system status page also reported a four-hour problem Wednesday with the company’s iCloud backup service. SanDisk Upgraded On Flash Memory Market, New Product

SanDisk (SNDK) was upgraded Wednesday by an analyst upbeat about the supply/demand balance for flash-memory chips this year, as well as a new product launch, cost-cutting and other factors. Goldman Sachs analyst Mark Delaney, in a research report Wednesday, upgraded SanDisk to conviction buy from neutral and boosted his price target to 106 from 100. Delaney said demand for Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are helping to drive Nand flash
