Taylor Swift gives her blessing to Apple Music

Pop music fans worried that Taylor Swift’s album “1989” wouldn’t be on Apple’s (AAPL) new streaming music service can “shake it off” now. Swift confirmed Thursday that her hit album will indeed be available on the service when it launches on Tuesday. The 25-year-old songstress revealed the news on Twitter. “After the events of this week, I’ve decided to put 1989 on Apple Music . .. and happily so,” she said. “This is simply the first time it’s felt right in my gut to stream my album.” Earlier in the week, Swift wrote a blog post critical of Apple’s plans not to pay artists royalties during the three-month free trial period for Apple Music.
