Apple (AAPL) is one of the latest tech names to voice disapproval of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA), joining tech heavyweights Netflix (NFLX), Facebook (FB), Twitter (TWTR) and Alphabet (GOOGL). “We don’t support the current CISA proposal,” said Apple in a statement acquired by the Washington Post. “The trust of our customers means everything to us, and we don’t believe security should come at the expense of their privacy.”
