Market Lab Report – Premarket Pulse 12/31/15
Major averages fell yesterday on lower volume that was well below average. Such volumes are typical as we close in on the end of the year. The selling was attributed, again, to a decline in oil prices. Both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite sit above their respective 200-day moving averages though closed at their intraday lows. Low volumes can lead to exaggerated moves in either direction so as always keep stops tight. Futures are off around -0.35% at the time of this writing.
