Priceline Crushes Earnings Views On Overseas Bookings

Priceline continued a string of positive results from online travel companies with fourth-quarter earnings out late Thursday that crushed expectations, though its Q1 guidance fell short. Profit per share minus items rose 31% to $8.85, far above consensus estimates of $8.29. Revenue grew 29% vs. a year earlier to $1.54 billion, just beating forecasts for $1.52 billion.
