Huawei, Chinese Smartphone Makers Outpacing Market

The worldwide smartphone market grew 23.1% year over year in the second quarter, fueled by shipments from fast-growing Chinese vendors Huawei and Lenovo. Total smartphone shipments reached 295.3 million units, a quarterly record, research firm IDC reported Tuesday.
