Comcast Q2 Fueled By ‘Jurassic,’ ‘Furious’ NBCU Films

Comcast (CMCSA) said Q2 revenue rose 11.3%, topping views, as NBCUniversal sales popped 20.2% on strong box office growth, owing to films “Jurassic World,” “Furious 7” and “Pitch Perfect 2.” NBCU’s filmed entertainment division’s revenue jumped 93% from the year earlier period to $2.26 billion.
